Lesson 6-Ryo and Roxanne

Lesson 6: Ryo & Roxanne:

It was just a normal day at Shibusen NP, Hanshi was giving another lecture and Ryo was bored out of his mind. Ryo was watching the clock on the wall closely hoping it would finally be 3:00. Three a clock struck and the bell rang, Ryo was relieved "finally freedom!", as the students were getting up Hanshi said "oh and we're having a test tomorrow I hope you all have been studying and none of you better not fail!". Ryo's face became pale and he thought "CRAP WE HAVE A TEST!!!!!! I HAVEN'T STUDIED!". He ran over to his partner Roxanne "Roxi you gotta help me study!!!"Roxanne looked at him and sighed "very well but you owe me", He smiled and hugged her "thanks Roxi you're the best". Roxanne blushed and pushed him away lightly "w-whatever lets go to the library we can study there". They entered the library and found a place to sit, Roxanne took some books from her bag and placed them on the table "okay Ryo I am going to show you how I study for a test". Ryo smiled "okay I am ready to learn". Roxi opened a book and looked at one of the pages, she then closed the book and opened another book. Ryo looked a bit confused "uh Roxi is that really how you study?" She nodded "yes I always study like this and I always get good grades". He still didn't understand "but you only looked at one page how can you remember everything?" She said "I have a photographic memory don't you Ryo?". Ryo sighed and slammed his head on the table "No I don't…I am going to fail….". Roxi patted his shoulder "you'll do fine you just need to study". Ryo studied with Roxanne for hours, it was almost midnight and they both needed their rest. They both returned to their dorm rooms to get some rest. The next morning it was the day of the test and Ryo was nervous. Roxanne was sitting next to him, she smiled at him and said "don't worry you'll do fine". After the test papers were passed out Hanshi shouted "OKAY BEGIN!". Everyone started their tests, the sound of pencils writing could be heard around the room. Ryo was answering questions a surprise to him he actually knew the answers to some of them. Roxanne was answering the questions like it was nothing. After everyone had finished their tests Ryo sighed with the relief "finally its over I guess that wasn't too bad, heh I bet I passed". Roxi smirked "we'll see when we get the results". A week had passed and Hanshi finally posted the results of the tests, some students cheered for joy seeing their grades but for other students well…not so much. Ryo was looking up at the results searching for his name and grade. Ryo spotted and shouted "woo hoo I got a 70 alright!". Roxanne was surprised "wow you actually passed but you know if you studied more you could get higher grades". Ryo turned to her "what was your grade Roxi?" Roxi smiled "I got a100", Ryo frowned "tch well aren't you perfect". Roxi laughed "ha ha don't be jealous come on lets go to the café to celebrate that we passed our tests". Ryo's expression brightened "heh sounds good to me let's go!".
